In-the-ear custom hearing aids come in various sizes. They can either fill the entire ear and canal, part of the ear and canal, or just the canal itself. They consist of a custom-molded case that is unique to your ears shape and size and holds all the electronic components.

Behind the ear (BTE) hearing aids come in 2 styles, open fit or traditional BTE. They both hook over the top of your ear and sit behind the ear where the electronic components are held. A receiver or tube then transmits amplified sound to an ear mold or dome that is placed in the ear canal.
